The Renaissance Scrolls

There is always something unfolding in the courtyard.It might be a figure from history worth meeting again, a painting that asks us to look a little longer, or a passage from an old book. It could be a nearly forgotten skill, a piece of music, a hidden garden, or an idea that has traveled across centuries and still has something to say.

The Renaissance Scroll is where we gather these things. Here, history is not kept behind glass. It is unrolled beside modern questions, examined, and occasionally brought home with us. We will find ourselves in the company of artists, physicians, herbalists, and philosophers. By following the stories of ordinary objects or stopping to notice forgotten beauty, we reconsider the past—carrying forward the timeless ways of seeing that still endure for a reason.
